Dr. David Huy Tran

Dr David Huy Tran is a consultant cardiologist and cardiac imaging specialist with over 10 years of experience. He completed his medical, cardiology, and sub-specialty training in Australia and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians. He also holds a Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) from the University of Sydney.

As a Level B accredited specialist in CT coronary angiography—the highest accreditation in Australia—Dr Tran is highly skilled in advanced cardiac imaging. He actively reports for local radiology groups and mentors aspiring cardiologists and radiologists.
Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr Tran is dedicated to education, training cardiac sonographers from WSU and CQU. His key interests include preventative cardiology, ischaemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
